There is something powerful in the way the ADF/Veteran family rallies around its own.
These quilts passed through 3 sets of hands on their journey to their new home.
❤️ Made by the spouse of a Vietnam Veteran.
❤️ Donated to Sallymaam Penni for Team Sallyman's Operation Blankets of Love.
❤️ Delivered to a veteran family by a member of a Facebook support group for Defence partners.

Today, Team Sallyman Lavarack Barracks led the combined congregations of Townsville Salvos in worship.
Thea arranged this stunning decor. She is the wife of a veteran, and a keen quilter.
Thank you Thea ❤️
Sallyman Nigel led the service, which included a Sallyman roll of honour, acknowledging many who have served here in Townsville.
Sallyman Perry preached a message about love that lays down its life in obedience to God and service to others.
Sallyman Greg sounded his bugle.
Former Sallyman Garry recited the Ode, as well as being the organiser of the service.
Former Sallymaam Penni read her own poem, Only a Minute, written for Remembrance Day 2023 and published in Salvos Magazine.
Thanks to all who made the service possible.

It was great to welcome 3 families to the Table tonight.
Thanks for coming - we had a great time.
If anyone might have lost a special friend, we found one hiding under a table inside. If it's yours, come in and see the Geckos Family Centre - North Queensland gang during the week.
Next Come to the Table will be 2 weeks time, Saturday 23 March. See you then!
