One of the things I love most about Social Beagle is the relationships I’ve built with trade businesses over the years. From sparkies and plumbers to landscapers and builders, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know each business in detail and sharing their work in a way that feels real.

🔃 Think of Instagram’s new repost button like a “share” button for your main feed, if you see a post from a happy customer, a supplier, or another business you work with, you can share it straight to your own profile with just a tap. It automatically gives credit to the original poster, so you can fill your feed with real jobs, great feedback, and industry news without having to make all the content yourself.

Of course, creating your own quality content should always be the foundation of your socials, but using reposts is a great way to collaborate with other businesses, strengthen relationships, and keep your page looking fresh and active in between your own posts.

Today I’ve been helping a business recover their hacked Facebook account, and it’s really driven home how important it is to stay on top of your account security.
So here’s my Public Service Announcement – stop what you’re doing and give your Facebook a quick security check today. 🚨

4 steps to lock down your account:
1️⃣ Change your password regularly – Use something long, unique, and not used anywhere else.
2️⃣ Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Accounts Center → Password & Security. An authenticator app is best.
3️⃣ Check authorised logins – Under Where you’re logged in, log out of anything you don’t recognise.
4️⃣ Set up login alerts – Get notified if someone tries to log in from an unfamiliar device.

It takes 10–15 minutes and could save you from a major headache later.
