ARIZONA'S HIDDEN CURVED OF WONDER

Horseshoe Bend is a dramatic, horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page in northern Arizona. Carved into the red Navajo sandstone, it sits about 1,000 feet (300 meters) below the surrounding cliffs and is part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. This natural wonder has become a popular tourist destination for its breathtaking views, especially at sunset, and is easily accessible via a short hike from U.S. Route 89.

TIGER QUOLL- cute but feisty ☺️

The tiger quoll, also known as the spotted-tailed quoll, is a carnivorous marsupial native to Australia. It has reddish-brown fur with white spots, including on its tail, and is the largest quoll species. Mostly nocturnal, it hunts birds, reptiles, and small mammals using its strong jaws. Tiger quolls are great climbers and use their long tails for balance. Though solitary, they communicate with sounds and scent. Their numbers are declining due to habitat loss and introduced predators, making conservation efforts important.
