GOLD 1242 services the Victoria's industrial heart, the Latrobe Valley, as well as the world famous Gippsland Lakes, with the major holiday destinations of Lakes Entrance, Loch Sport, Metung and Paynesville all calling GOLD 1242 their station. The community are advised of temporary road closures that will affect movement around the Morwell CBD tomorrow, Saturday 4 October 2025.

The closures will be in place from 9.00am to 3.00pm to ensure community safety during a scheduled event. Roads impacted include:

• Buckley Street from Hoyle and Church Streets
• Church Street from Princes Drive to Buckley Street
• Princes Drive from Collins to Church Streets
• Tarwin Street from George Street to Commercial Road
• Hazelwood Road from George and Ann Streets

Victoria Police have liaised with local businesses within the closure area. Community members are encouraged to check directly with businesses regarding their trading hours.

Council thanks the community for their patience and understanding while these measures are in place.
