I was very honoured to receive the Community Champion Award 2025 from APOC (Australian Professionals of Multicultural Communities) at the Cargo Hall, South Wharf, Melbourne, Saturday 4 Oct, in recognition of my over 40 years of promoting more Chinese Australian stories and representation in our entertainment industry, of my fighting any form of discrimination against the Chinese Australian community. and of my bridging many different cultures in feature films, TV, and stage projects over the years. The APOC Gala is a landmark event honouring the exceptional contributions of multicultural professionals and allies who are breaking barriers, leading with impact, and championing inclusion in Australian workplaces and communities.

Produced by Jon-Claire Lee, "WE ARE AUSTRALIA" The Music Video received its world premiere performance on 12 March at The Premier's Harmony Dinner 2025 at the Grand Ballroom, ICC Sydney before a multicultural audience of 1500. This was only made with the support of The Hon Chris Minns MP (Premier of NSW), The Hon Steve Kamper MP (Minister for Multiculturalism), Mr. Joseph La Posta (CEO of Multicultural NSW), Mr. Anthony Pang OAM (CASS & CAF) and Mr. Benjamin Chow AO (ACCF & CAF). This is a music video of a new pop, catchy anthem for multicultural Australia, with original lyrics by Jon-Claire Lee and original music by Philippe-Marc Anguetil. ENJOY!!!

Congratuations to STC's Alfred Ong for his wonderful performance as the Father in the AFTRS Graduate film "Then the Wind Stops," which had its Sydney premiere this evening at the Entertainment Quarter, Sydney. Directed by Wentian Jin, it tells of a young immigrant, Jing An, who reconnects with her parents, especially her Father, during their short visit to Sydney.
