I was very honoured to receive the Community Champion Award 2025 from APOC (Australian Professionals of Multicultural Communities) at the Cargo Hall, South Wharf, Melbourne, Saturday 4 Oct, in recognition of my over 40 years of promoting more Chinese Australian stories and representation in our entertainment industry, of my fighting any form of discrimination against the Chinese Australian community. and of my bridging many different cultures in feature films, TV, and stage projects over the years. The APOC Gala is a landmark event honouring the exceptional contributions of multicultural professionals and allies who are breaking barriers, leading with impact, and championing inclusion in Australian workplaces and communities.
