Director Paul Nevison’s latest work for the Land Rover Defender was filmed in Kenya’s remote Lewa and Borana conservancies. The Rhino Whisperer is a cinematic tribute to conservation, resilience, and female leadership. It tells the true story of a girl who becomes her conservancy’s first female head ranger, forging a bond with Kitui, a 1200kg Black Rhino. Shot over six days with a nimble crew, the production faced extreme terrain, unpredictable wildlife, and raw beauty. Advanced filming techniques and the ever-reliable Land Rover Defender brought mythic visuals to life. The result is more than a commercial - it’s an emotional, visually powerful homage to nature and those who protect it.
