Rock art on the Burrup is really amazing to see .. Ive seen a lot over the years, and some are very easy to understand .. water , water sources , animals and birds even human faces ! So for your first intro into this wonderful world , here are a couple of images of what food was around this place ..

The one on the long rock.. Thats the very first Manatee ive seen on on the burrup rock art. Last one is a rock wallaby.

Good morning 😊 Every morning I do a little walk .. it lasts an hour and I get to see the sunrise over the water. Thus morning the sky had a beautiful hue that the water liked so much it took it on as well .
I liked it too and snapped this to share with you .

This little salt pile being loaded onto the ship is a valuable commodity.. Travelling all over the world to grit roads in the winters of Scotland .. My home town even !!

Im sure this will be heading there soon ...

Of course we all know who this is .. Red Dog.. from the aptly name movie .."Red Dog" ..
I never knew, met or even patted ol Red Dog .. but by all accounts was a bit of a rascal ..
Anyhoo he was on his best behaviour and even posed for a pic .

So I was sitting in Dampier yacht club last night , watching the gulls fight over a crust of bread a little girl had thrown to them.
The sun was dropping silently behind the hills in front of the club.

I gazed out and pictured myself on one of the catamarans in the distance getting ready to sail off in the morning .

Then an elderly man walked by looked up at me smiled waved and walked down onto the jetty .
Started his little outboard on his tender and headed out to his very own catamaran.

I smiled and wondered if it was my future self reminding me that a catamaran with my name on it is coming …

Or just a random guy being friendly 😉
