After an incredible 72-week run, Papercuts has slipped out of the Top 50 this week. But there’s some good news – From Zero is back in the charts, now marking its 7th week in the Top 50!

Let’s keep the momentum going, LPAU fam – stream both albums this week and let’s aim to see them side by side on next week’s chart!

UPDATE:

A quick update on this one: thanks to a questionable rule change from ARIA, Papercuts has been cut from the Top 50 Albums chart!

“Eligible titles can remain on the Main Charts for up to ten weeks.”

It’s a frustrating move, and it explains why such a high-performing release disappeared from the top 50 so suddenly.

CONFIRMED! LP are heading to Australia in March next year! It is a relatively… short and sparse tour. However, you’ll notice the gaps between the dates. We think it’s very safe to say that additional shows will be added. Other cities? Not so sure 😢

Here’s why this matters…

Live Nation is a promoter. So is Destroy All Lines — they’re the ones behind the Good Things Festival. But here’s the key point: Live Nation is not Destroy All Lines.

Both Linkin Park and Live Nation have now pointed to Monday 11 August for an announcement. To us, that’s a pretty strong sign that Linkin Park are heading to Australia for their own solo headline tour — not headlining Good Things.

We know a lot of you will be very happy about this!

Coincidence that these locations line up with the Good Things festival? We’re not sure… yet. 👀
