August has arrived, which means Book Week is almost upon us! Author talks, book parades and celebrating all that is the wonderful world of children’s literature will be happening in schools across the country this month. This year’s theme from The Children's Book Council of Australia is ‘Book an Adventure’, so to help support you in the classroom, we’ve created downloadable learning resources to engage your students in their own adventure, as well as our term 3 story hunts. All learning resources link to issue 7, which is in classrooms now, meaning all you need to do go to our ‘News and Events’ page (link in bio) to download the PDF for your class, and you’ll be ready for a reading adventure!

✏️WRITERS: We accept plays in any genre that bring drama and fun to primary classrooms. Plays should be easy-to-stage scripts for large groups of students to perform, although plays for smaller casts are also welcome.
