She’s quite the story beyond a regular dahlia.

Breeding wise a dahlia that sun fades isn’t one we’d keep, however Ruthless Gail was hand selected to be kept by a loved dahlia grower and dear friend I had built a friendship with over seasons of growing and chatting together.

Gail left our world just prior to the start of this season, last season she selected this dahlia face that starts out bright hot pink and fades to a beautiful soft baby pink, fading with grace and elegance.

Gail wanted a tribute of herself left to have her love for dahlias remembered.

This season we grew her out and will be sharing her to Gail’s family and friends and on going Ruthless Gail will be available as a no cost Tuber.

Others will be encouraged to share as much as they can at no cost and have a space for Gail in gardens far and wide right where she’d be her happiest.

After sending to Gail’s family and friends some tubers will be listed at $0 to take from the store, it is a request that when it comes time to divide the following season that other growers also keep her at $0 and help have Gail shared far and wide ♥️
