As 2024 comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on the year that’s been. It wasn’t all smooth sailing—there were tough times, hard decisions, and moments of letting go. Saying goodbye to things and people that no longer aligned with my values and goals was challenging but ultimately freeing.

But 2024 also brought so many incredible moments. I’ve made unforgettable memories, met amazing new people, welcomed wonderful new clients, and seized opportunities that I’m endlessly grateful for. And now, as we look to 2025, I couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come—starting with welcoming Baby Booth into the world in February.

This year, I took a leap of faith, going all-in on myself and my businesses. It’s a decision I’m so proud of, and I feel incredibly blessed to have the support of the amazing people in my life who have cheered me on every step of the way.

With this, I share some pics from the The Business Social Christmas Party a couple of weeks ago. What an amazing night connecting, letting go of 2024, and celebrating all we achieved as women in business this year. A night to remember, thanks to the Exmouth Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service (and Santa!) for cooling us down and to The Shack Exmouth for the delicious food and drinks.

A special shoutout to two of my biggest cheerleaders, Teegan and Teagan from the Business Social. You’ve taken me under your wing and helped me fight some terrible imposter syndrome. 2024 wouldn’t have been the same without you girls by my side, and I can’t wait to see what we come up with in 2025!

As we move into the holiday season, our team will continue working through the Christmas and New Year break to stay on top of current projects. Behind the scenes, I’ve been building an incredible team to ensure Visual Contrast and its services remain strong while I step into a new role in 2025—becoming a first-time mum.

We were thrilled to be involved with the brand creation for Studio Coast earlier this year, Exmouth’s boutique reformer Pilates studio!

Tahlia has poured her heart into this new venture, and we couldn’t be prouder of the handcrafted brand that now embodies her unique vision.

This project was a labor of love, where we stepped away from the screen, brought out the sketchpad, and let the creative process flow. The result? A custom creation that beautifully represents Tahlia’s bespoke business and even has a prime spot on her merchandise collection – from hats to t-shirts!

We love supporting local businesses and helping them bring their vision to life! 🏡 Visual Contrast helped Ningaloo Harvest IGA last year, our local grocery stores run by Joss, Trevor, and Dustin Clarke. Known for fresh, locally sourced produce and ready-to-go meals, they recently added the new coffee window last year serving up freshly brewed coffee and baked goods from 6am daily. ☕️🍪

We played a key role in seamlessly integrating the new coffee offering into Ningaloo Harvest’s brand, delivering a variety of creative solutions to make their expansion truly stand out. Here’s how we helped:

🔹 Logo Design: Updated the existing logo to incorporate the new coffee offering while maintaining brand consistency.
🔹 Custom Ink Stamps: Designed bespoke ink stamps for coffee cups, adding a personal touch and reinforcing the Ningaloo Harvest identity with every sip.
🔹 Bag Stickers: Created custom stickers for baked goods, making sure the branding is cohesive across all products.
🔹 Coffee Bag Labels: Developed informative labels for coffee bags, featuring details about the bean variety and origin to enhance the customer experience.
🔹 Bespoke Signage Solutions: Crafted tailored signage to effectively communicate the new coffee window’s offerings and attract attention to the updated service.

This annual event is a beautiful opportunity to step away from the daily grind and reconnect with incredible women in our community.
