🛝 GET READY FOR MORE PLAY! 🛝

Late last year, we asked park users what play equipment they would like to see included in the renewal of the Byethorne Park playground to replace four ageing pieces of equipment located along the boundary fence.

The top three choices were:

⭐ Flying fox (track slider)
⭐ Spinner
⭐ Swing

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been able to extend the number of pieces of play equipment within the available budget to also include:

⭐ Giant treehouse system with slide
⭐ Hammock
⭐ Double embankment slide

The replacement equipment will be relocated closer to the newer playground and nature play area, creating a more connected play space for families to enjoy. The existing area along the boundary fence will be returned to a natural passive space.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback on improving this much-loved local park.

Installation of the new equipment is expected to start in September and be completed by the end of the year.
