Lest we forget.

In 2025 the opportunity arose to made a documentary about some passionate people riding horses about 750km through rural NSW and VIC. It was a such an epic journey and each service I got to film was solemn and heartfelt. People have not and will not forget what past generations suffered through, and making the ultimate sacrifice. This day is the perfect time to reflect on the service of so many great Australians before us. A huge thanks to Ross, Pat and Honor and the whole team and supporters who were involved with this endeavour! A special acknowledgement needs to be made to Ewen McLean, whose words below capture the whole story.

How good is this? Melinda Hyland just clocked 350 games in AFLW. The first woman to achieve that number! We were lucky to be commissioned by the AFL to tell her story. Click the link on the post to see a great article about her achievement, and to see the full 5 minute doco and on YouTube. It was a great day filming with Mel and her family. She is a trailblazer and up there with the most tenacious players to run onto the field. Another great sporting milestone for Wagga! Thanks to Tom on second camera and Alicia in the edit suite for tuning this project around in a week!

In 2023 I was lucky enough to film this project on Masig Island in the Torres Strait produced by Laticia at Blue Clay Marketing + Video Creatives. Over the week a lot was learned about the plastic debris problem facing the locals and ways to fix it. Such an enlightening and challenging but rewarding week! On the back of this there is another doco project that will be shared in 2024. So keep an eye out.

🎬 As this year wraps up, it's time to share some highlights of the previous few.

A huge shoutout to our amazing clients and partners and a massive shout out to the closest collaborators and legends Hannah Nicholls in Albury and Matt Beaver in Wagga. In 2023 it was great to welcome to the team Rachel in QLD and in 2024 welcome Alicia at HQ.

Here's to the power of independent regional creatives and storytelling. An incredible journey still lies ahead.
