Over the Melbourne Cup long weekend, the family and I continued our new tradition of participating in the 4WD Events Australia Goldfields Adventure as Team ‘Skillo’s Shed’. This is an offroad navigation competition held in the Goldfields of Victoria over 3 days, navigating, solving puzzles, finding clues and earning points along the way to solve the mystery of ‘who stole the gold?’

With 20 other entrants, we were stoked to finish 7th this year (and improve on our 10th from our first attempt last year) and even more impressed that Jada won the Under 15’s Junior course for the 2nd year running!

A big thank you to Gary, Ruffy and the 4wd Events Australia team for another awesome event and we are already looking forward to it again next year! Make sure you check out their website if you’re interested in these types of events.
