Miles, Glenmorgan and Meandarra Locals - invite to planning workshop for Taroom Trough Development
The Queensland Government is preparing the Taroom Trough Development Plan for potential future tight oil and gas.

This is your opportunity to join the conversation early and help ensure local voices influence the planning process.

Come along to:

• Discuss potential opportunities, impacts and concerns
• Ask questions and learn more about the Plan

Have Your Say on Energy in Our Region

I am working with a research student who is keen to hear local perspectives on the energy industries across our region.

As part of her research, she is investigating what people actually think about oil and gas developments, as well as renewable energy projects like wind and solar farms. She would like to understand what people support and what concerns they might have. How you, the constituent, weigh up the benefits versus the challenges and whether your views have changed over time.

The survey is not advocating for any particular position and there are no right or wrong answers. The aim is to gather genuine community views and experiences to help inform her research.
