Thursday's rolled around again, meaning it's time for another !

It's November 2003 as a group of local kids get out and about to develop their green thumbs. Students from Warragul and Jindivick primary schools enjoyed visits from gardening personalities who were there to judge the school gardens for the state school garden awards.

Pictured with judge Kevin Heinze are Warragul Primary School students (from left) Sharni Bale, Nick Hodge, Travis D**e, Steven Fricke, Luke Cropley, Cameron Hardy, judge Lorna Pearce, Elyse Felstead and Chris Kelly.

REMEMBERING KEITH
Long serving Gazette journalist Keith Anderson died on Monday night.

Aged 78, Keith was still working part time in May when he took indefinite sick leave.

Keith was a valued member of our editorial team, a great mentor and a wonderful friend.

As a journalist he was passionate about his craft, always pursued a tough line of questioning and was respected in the many fields he covered including sport, politics and general news.

Keith will be missed by everyone in our office.
Our deepest sympathy to Keith’s family, his friends and the many community people who Keith dealt with, especially through the Drouin football and netball clubs, and Warragul and Drouin RSLs.

A funeral service for Keith will be held at David W. Bull funeral home in Drouin on Monday, December 1 at 11am, followed by a burial at the Drouin Cemetery.
