Meet 'Jag' 🐎

This handsome guy is Tommy's dad! We got to do some training together yesterday at the Castle in the lead up to this weekends Victorian Medieval Festival 🏰✨️

There are a total of 4 jousting sessions over the 2 days. I will be riding on Saturday in both the morning and afternoon. On the Sunday I will be on the field in the afternoon for the presentations only. Please come say hi if you see me!! 🖤💛🖤

Escapees!!

I have spent the better part of today with these two rascals. With 3 early morning messages to let me know that they had escaped, but thankfully, they were back at the ranch safe by the time I got there!!

Now, they have the pleasure of having a hot wire fence to deter them as they spend time in the small paddock for their injuries to heal.

Horse ownership is not for the faint-hearted 💀🐎

Amongst all of the love, fun, and glory of owning horses. Comes the very real reality of them also having times of silliness and growth of awareness about their needs.

Dark Lord is now out of action for at least a good few months after he managed to escape into the 400acre paddock that is adjacent to where the boys normally stay.

Tommy was due to be started for training in the upcoming weeks but now has a swollen ankle.

Any pet owner can relate to the pain of seeing your loved animals injured and the financial stress that can also come with owning them.

Rest time now for these two. Hopefully, they also take heed of their warning too 😂😅💙
