To finish off term 2 of improv classes, we introduced students to some RPG (or role-playing games) where they had to improvise in character to make their way through the Mystery of Colliton Creek. Not only that, but they had to interact with Cody improvising as various characters throughout the setting, with his main character being Sheriff Tucker Valenciago. A real test of "yes, and?", accents, dialogue, and thinking on the spot!

🌟 The South West MESS 2024 performances are now live on YouTube, fully edited and ready for your ears!

Held at the legendary Fletcher Jones Factory, 2024’s South West MESS brought together young artists from across the region to explore the world of synthesisers, sound design, and live electronic performance. With mentorship from industry pros and access to the one-of-a-kind MESS Ltd gear collection, four incredible groups emerged: Synthetix Fabrica, Synthwave Mechanik, Synthex Sonora, and Arpeggio Warp.

Each group created and performed a completely original composition - pushing boundaries, experimenting with sound, and turning the historic venue into a futuristic soundscape.

📸Check out these awesome photos our work experience student Levi took a couple weeks ago! In case you missed it, we couldn't go outside to photography due to the weather, so we got some lights and the smoke machine around our miniature factory to photography instead. And they turned out great, too!
