Two people in a boat ran into trouble before making it back to shore.

The SES picked up the occupants an returned them & their boat to the ramp.

A group of Year 11 students at Brauer College organised a Big Freeze event at the school today, with students and teachers going under the bucket.
The school hopes to raise more than $1000 for the Fight MND cause.
And as an added extra, a $50 donation was put up if Fitzmedia's very own Sharna Rogers took the plunge.
She's a great scout, so of course she did.

Friendship, the love of cars and the desire to raise money for a good cause are all behind an upcoming adventure.
David Lumsden and Danny Keane are taking part in the Sh*tbox Rally - Spring 2025 - SS Shenanigan, which raises money for cancer research.
The two life long friends are aiming to raise $10,000 for their efforts, which includes driving a Ford LTD, which they have prepared themselves, from Alice Springs to the Gold Coast.
This week Danny's mother, Catherine, held a fundraiser at her house to assist the boys in their quest.
The day raised over $1100 and was attended by Catherine's family and friends.
