This time last week as the sun was rising, one of our much loved friends was leaving this world very unexpectedly and well before her time with us was finished, with so much more living to do and so many more laughs and good times to be had together.
She light up so many peoples lives just like the perfect sunrise and will be trully missed forever, and now everytime we see the sunrise we will know that although she is not here in person she is still sharing her love, and lighting up our lives everyday as if she is here with us ❤️❤️

Bounced our way into Lake Mackenzie yesterday.
Was it worth the drive in...YES it was on a picture perfect day and plenty of others had the same idea as it was busy with people everywhere.

The inland tracks are very dry and chewed up after all the school holiday traffic which makes for a slow and rough trip but so worth a few thousand bumps once you get there 😍😍

Finally getting a few fish now the water has cleared with a perfect afternoon and morning with no wind and total glass out on the ocean.
Thats all about to change later today and could turn into a washing machine by tonight.
The sunsets here are nearly as good as the sunrises, just magical.
Fish for breaky and dinner....Loving Island Life 😍

Turtle Rescue saved from the Dingoes while this big girl was tired and stranded on the beach at low tide on sunrise. Juat enough energy to make it back into the water with a little encouragment.

Sunrise with a Shipwreck. The SS Maheno has been sitting here for 90 years after running aground in 1935 and slowly falling apart now, as we all do with age 🤣
Its one of our favourite fishing spots on Fraser Island and even better as the sun rises while fishing with your brother and nephew.
No fish caught due to the dirty water hugging the beach, but the fish are a bonus anyway when you have mornings like this 😍😍

Our Home for the next 4 weeks is now complete including a verandah out the front and clothesline out the back. Time to enjoy the weather and the views and find where the fish are hiding, their not in the nice gutter in front of camp but what a start to a new day with an awesome sunrise while trying to catch a few 😁🐟😍👍
