Hey legends! After a bit of a social media hibernation (turns out prepping for a big scout milestone takes time!), the Penguin is officially back on the trail 🐧

Yesterday, I started walking from Apollo Bay to Cape Otway lighthouse over 3 days—this Adventurous Journey is a major step toward earning my Australian Scout Award đŸ•ïž

While I’m navigating cliffs, coastlines, and blisters, my trusty support person—affectionately known as the Chauffeur—is holding down the fort with a rigorous schedule of reading and napping. True hero stuff 😂

If you see me out there, don’t be shy—say hi, snap a pic, or share a trail joke. I’m all ears (and sore feet)!

Thanks for sticking around. Let’s make this journey one to remember đŸ’Ș

It takes a village—and ours just delivered 2,000 containers strong! đŸ™Œâ™»ïž

While Chief Penguin is deep in a high-stakes card game at scout camp (see photo for proof of strategic brilliance), The Chauffeur is definitely not at camp
instead, he’s knee-deep in logistics, sorting through a mountain of donated 10c containers from across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This incredible community effort is helping Chief Penguin get one step closer to the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland đŸ‡”đŸ‡±. Every bottle, can, and carton is a ticket to adventure—and we’re beyond grateful.

📾 Swipe through to see:

1. Chief Penguin in their natural habitat (cards, chaos, and campfire laughs)
2. The glorious pile of ~2,000 containers donated so far!

But the journey’s not over yet. We’re still collecting! If you’ve got eligible containers lying around, drop them off and help fuel the next chapter of this scout-powered mission.

🧭 It takes a village—and we’re proud to be part of yours.

👉 Keep the donations coming! Every 10c counts.

Big milestone to share today! 🎉

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working hard on my fundraising journey—collecting, counting, and sorting 1,235 containers for redemption at Whittlesea Community House. It took a lot of time (and a lot of sticky hands!), but every single bottle and can adds up. You can see them all stacked and ready to go in the first photo.

Alongside container returns, I’ve also been selling my handmade items at local markets and online. Between these two efforts, I’ve now raised $1,300—and I’ve already deposited it (second photo shows the proof!).

As a 14‑year‑old scout, this is about more than just numbers. It’s about showing that with persistence, creativity, and community support, big goals can be reached step by step. Every container donated, every item purchased, and every word of encouragement has helped me get here.

If you’d like to keep supporting, there are a few ways:
- Donate your 10c containers
- Share this post to spread the word
- Or check out my handmade creations (available at markets and through the link in my bio)

Thank you so much to everyone who’s been part of this journey so far. Together, we’re proving that small actions really do make a big difference.

Here’s a little peek behind the curtain — this is what it looks like when your orders get packed and posted.

Every product I send out helps fund my journey to the World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027.

And every order, comment, and share means the world to me. Seriously — thank you.

Just me, winding ratchet straps like a boss đŸ’Ș

Then someone asked
 well
 a very creative question.

Let’s be clear: I welcome all curiosity, but I do not recommend inserting uncovered 3D printed items into your re**um. That’s not what PLA was made for.

🧠 Maker tip: 3D prints are porous, brittle, and not body-safe unless properly coated and sterilized — and even then, consult a medical professional before any off-label adventures.

Keep the questions coming though — the chaos fuels the content 😎

Hey friends! I’m doing a final clearance of my beeswax wraps — multiple designs, all handmade, and once they’re gone, they’re gone for good.
