We are looking for a project co-ordinator to join our growing team! and are looking for exceptional customer service and problem solving/resolutions experience coupled with a tech savvy mind person to excel in our team. Exciting opportunity to work with a leading telecommunications construction company.
About the role:
Your new role will see you be part of a high performing team, responsible for actioning and managing requests to execute to field technicians for optimisation and best practices. The successful applicant will provide excellent customer service through written and verbal communication channels keeping stakeholders informed, respond quickly to new programs of work or new activities, as well as responsible to manage small projects within the group to identify challenges and continuous improvement initiatives.
About Your Responsibilities:
• Accountable for prioritising and actioning incoming work to ensure all work-types are actioned within operational business rules and assigned Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned Fibre Optic Projects.
• Provide excellent customer service through written and verbal communication channels
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communicate with Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status in order to meet designated goals.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision whilst managing multiple projects at one time.
• Support project managers in identifying opportunities for process and business improvement.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
· Ensure compliance with all WH&S policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
· Demonstrate a commitment to WH&S through actions.
· Participate and encourage participation in any WH&S meetings and forums.
About You:
• Strong customer service experience (telecommunications highly desirable)
• Some familiarity with project rostering or scheduling preferred.
• Tech savvy and adopts systems quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritise
