THE ULTIMATE GREAT OCEAN ROAD ITINERARY 🙌🏽

Listed below are my 12 recommendations, in order, starting from Adelaide to Lorne that you MUST visit:

- Start at The Grotto (2nd pic)
- London Bridge (3nd pic)
- The Arch (4th pic)
- Loch Ard Gorge (2 posts ago)
- Twelve Apostles (1st pic)
- Gibsons Steps (post to come)

*You can expect to visit The Grotto to Gibson Steps in one day as it's only 22kms (30 minute drive) between them all. These locations are all on the same road, and super easy to just pull up and visit!*

- Beauchamp Falls (5th pic & prev reel)
- Californian Redwoods (6th & 7th pic)
- Hopetoun Falls (8th pic & prev reel)

*These three locations are situated very close to one another, however, keep in mind it's an hour from Gibsons Steps and an hour from Apollo Bay. I still 100% recommend making the drive out to see these waterfalls/forest as they are pretty insane (bonus, the hikes aren't difficult either)*

- Apollo Bay (no pic)
- The drive to Lorne (no pic, sadly)
- Great Ocean Road sign (9th pic)

I would recommend spending time or a night in Apollo Bay as it's a very beautiful town and has some amazing food. Take your time and enjoy the drive between Apollo Bay to Lorne, it is honestly spectacular (raining = no drone pics). There are lanes everywhere to pull up so the driver can enjoy the view too.
