Long time no post!

A lot has been happening behind the scenes at Sonei Home, all of which has become very overwhelming so I took a step back to give myself time to see what I wanted to do with Sonei Home.

It is with great sadness that Sonei Home will start closing its doors. The store is currently 30% off Storewide to clear through stock.

The reasons for making this decision is two-fold.

1. It needs more of me to grow it to the next level of its own products and wholesaling and expanding. And it’s time away from my boys and my husband that I’m not willing to part with at this stage in my life.

2. With the last couple of interest rates, sales have slowed dramatically and I can’t keep the business afloat at the level of growth Sonei Home is at.

I’m not overly sad or disappointed because the reasons aren’t because I have failed. It’s because it has become a little too great for what I’ve been able to give.

Which leads me to the question, “why wouldn’t I sell Sonei Home?”

Because it is too personal for me. The name, Sonei Home is made up of my 2 boys names, I’ve created such a beautiful and caring community and I don’t want someone to ruin what we have built together.

So with this change comes different content. I hope you all stay and watch my personal journey. But I absolutely see the need for some to unfollow because it doesn’t align with your interests.

What I will be sharing moving forward:

1. Beauty (makeup and skincare) - education, product recommendations and more. My background in makeup artistry and management will definitely help with validity!
2. Fashion - also my work history in retail and management helps!
3. Twin mum life (though this won’t be huge as I don’t want to share my boys when they are too young to consent to be shown on social media) - mum to twin boys, though I don’t consider myself experienced, I still don’t know what I’m doing.
4. Interiors - I will continue to share interior content. This includes product recommendations, brand awareness, design tips and more. I’m planning on undertaking a design course later this year so hopefully you’ll find this content still of value.
