Two Illawarra businesses putting heart, craft and community at the centre of what they do — and we are here for it.

Meet Andrew Marsh Meditation, where Thirroul local Marshy is helping people slow down, reset and build lifelong meditation habits through simple, powerful techniques and free intro chats.

And say hello to Egg & Dart Art Services — the Thirroul-based team bringing thoughtful framing, art curation and installation to homes and businesses across the region. Meticulous, warm and deeply connected to the Illawarra’s creative pulse.

HOW BULLI’S CROP SWAP IS GROWING COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

What started as a simple coffee catch-up between two locals has grown into one of Bulli’s most loved monthly meet-ups.
Held on the first Saturday of each month at Millers’ Local Bakehouse, the Crop Swap brings neighbours together to trade homegrown goodies, share knowledge and spark new friendships.

From seedlings and preserves to 50kg bags of grapefruit (yes, really), it’s become a space where generosity thrives and everyone leaves a little more connected.

Meet the makers behind the movement and explore the stories sprouting from this community garden in our latest issue or via the link below.

SPIRITS, SPRITZ & SPRING

Where culture, creativity and community meet — that’s Dharawal Distilling Co.

Founded by proud Wiradjuri man Mitch Lowrie, this Bellambi-based distillery blends 60,000 years of knowledge with modern techniques to craft gin and vodka infused with native botanicals.

From foraging on Country to collaborating with local artists and even his son Banjo, Mitch’s story is one of connection — to people, place and purpose.

INSIDE OUT LIVING

How do the places we design shape the way we live?

The Illawarra Festival of Architecture & Design (IFAD) is back for 2025 — inviting us to look closer at how architecture, interiors and landscapes connect people, culture and Country.

This year’s theme, Inside Out: Landscape & Life, explores what it means to design with nature, not against it.

🗓️ 18–19 October 2025
Full program + tickets via ifad.net.au
