Emergency services are currently on scene of an MVA at Richardson Road and Medowie Road Campvale.

The road is closed heading towards Raymond Terrace with traffic being diverted.

Emergency Services are currently on scene at Darwin St Beresfield for a tree across the road. The road is currently closed in both directions with Fire And Rescue NSW Station 454 Tarro working to clear the road.

At approximately 11:45am Tuesday the 23rd of April 2024. Fire Rescue NSW were responded to reports of a Building Fire on Anderson Drive Tarro.

Upon arrival, Fire crews found a shed behind a residence alight and got to work to extinguish the fire.

Thankfully no injuries were reported and the occupants self evacuated.

Police Operation - Raymond Terrace 14/01/24

On Sunday, January 14th, 2024, emergency services rushed to the Raymond Terrace boat ramp following reports of a vessel colliding with
a submerged car.

NSW Police, first on the scene, discovered what appeared to be a
small car partially submerged in the water, prompting a coordinated effort with NSW SES to secure the vehicle until the arrival of police divers.

Upon the arrival of the NSW Police Divers, a meticulous operation ensued to retrieve
the vehicle and assess the situation for potential occupants. After successfully recovering the car, it was confirmed that no individuals were found inside.

Acting Inspector Taylor of the NSW Police - Port Stephens Hunter District assured the public, stating, "At this stage, no persons were found in the vehicle, and we will be conducting a thorough investigation to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this incident."
