Just finished up the formalities after viewing Numbered Lives at Mercury Cinema IN Adelaide. Big BIG things coming for this film when it is released to the public, but for now, I cannot say any more except that my name is in the credits twice, so keep your eyes peeled for that. 😉

Tonight I joined in with the Adelaide Male Voice Choir to sing some Sea Shanties at South Australian Maritime Museum.
Some classics I knew, some I now have the opportunity to learn. They even sang John Chewbacca for May The 4th.
I think my favourite was a shanty that is only around 20 years old, written by a group of South Australian students - Eye Of The Needle.

I was honoured this evening to meet Master Mohammed Qissi,to learn about fight choreography in film.
Master Qissi was the bad guy in multiple films opposite his childhood friend, Jean Claude Van Dam. Classics like Kickboxer, Bloodsport and many other Martial Arts films in the 80s and 90s. He has worked with Chuck Norris, Steven Seagull, Georges St Pierre and many other amazing Martial Artists turned actor.
It was a great opportunity for me personally and I felt my confidence in my abilities grow, when he made note to mention after my performance, that I picked up the choreography quickly. 😁
It was difficult as someone with a pro wrestling background, to NOT make contact with my opponents. That felt odd, but I adapted well.
I successfully fought off 3 opponents at once and made it look convincing that I kicked their arses!
I highly recommend checking out some of his films for inspiration, from someone who came from a humble childhood in Belgium, to the bright lights of Hollywood.

Well, the Summer weather has arrived and the Port Admiral Hotel beer garden is calling yee name!
It's saying: YAHHHRRRRR!!! Come on in...
(insert name here) for a brew and a feed, while DJ Simo entertains yee crew with a few sea shanties and the good ol' dance floor classics.
Getcha grub on with a full menu of gluten free goodness, so it's good for ya yellowbelly
(it actually tastes damn good too!) and a bar stacked to the rafters with grog from all across the seven seas!
Grab yee crew and head to The Admiral from 2pm Saturday to give yaself a break!
