The Ukrainian ethnos was born, has lived for 1,500 years, and will live for even longer, on both banks of the Dnipro river. The ancient name of Ukrainians is Rusyns or Rusychis — in the middle of the 9th century, they founded the state of Rus, which in its heyday was the largest country in Europe.

😎 On 25 February 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a video from the center of Kyiv and made the war in Ukraine a personal matter for millions of people through social media. By means of his video appeals he also rallied foreign partners. He mentioned Pearl Harbour in the US Congress, The Brlin Wall in the Bundestag, and he quoted Churchill to the British Parliament. Ukrainian resident clearly reminded them that war could happen to everyone. Obviously such diplomacy gives fine results.

💪 Valeriy Zaluzhnyi became the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU only seven months before the Russian invasion. He is the first commander-in-chief who didn’t serve in the Soviet Army and is modernising the AFU according to NATO standards. This helps the Ukrainian army give a worthy rebuff to the enemy since the 24th of February. Zaluzhnyi is getting known as the "Iron General".

Mariupol will be a beautiful progressive city again. We will re-buid it. No doubt! It is a tragedy to see it destroyed and defiled by the "russian peace".

You will see Mariupol with the eyes of Ukrainians – bloodied, tired, but Unconquered. And soon will come the day when the blue and yellow flag will fly over the city of Mary again, and the unhealed wounds will become an influential memory for future generations.
