🎥 The next stop for Militantropos will be at IDFA!

The Benelux premiere of the documentary Militantropos by the TABOR Collective will take place at the IDFA Film Festival 2025 in the Best of Fests section.

🎞 Best of Fests features prize winners, public favorites, and the year's most eye-catching titles from the international festival circuit. The selection uses vastly diverse styles and genres to take us to the world's most pressing topics.

Excited to be part of IDFA again! ✨ In 2023 our project Militantropos received an Honorable Mention at the IDFA Forum Rough Cut Project, and we’re grateful to continue this journey with the festival.

Запрошуємо на прем’єру Київських Солістів у Києві 🎞

25 вересня відбудеться українська прем’єра нашого ко-продукційного документального фільму «Київські Солісти» режисера Тронд Квіґ Андреассена на Одеському міжнародному кінофестивалі у рамках програми «Мистецтво Травми».

Фільм розповідає про історію камерного ансамблю .kyiv , які вирушили в короткий концертний тур до Італії у лютому 2022 року. Тієї ж ночі росія розпочала повномасштабне вторгнення в їхню країну. У хаосі, що охопив світ, вони вирішили не зупинятися, а розширити свій тур Європою. Вони розпочали цю подорож разом, але з часом кожен із них змушений шукати власний шлях і спосіб жити у воєнній реальності.

У 2025 році фільм отримав нагороду Human Award на Human International Documentary Film Festival, 2025.

Одразу дві нагороди на Національній Кінопремії «Золота Дзиґа» отримує команда ТАБОРУ 🏆

У День Українського Кіно ми святкуємо дві нагороди від 9 Національної Кінопремії «Золота Дзиґа»:
✨ Відкриття Року отримала режисерка Maria Stoianova з дебютним повнометражним документальним фільмом «Фрагменти Льоду»,
✨ Найкращий Монтаж отримали Марина Майковська та Віктор Онисько (посмертно) за роботу над фільмом «Фрагменти Льоду».

Отримувати нагороду без Віктора особливо болісно. Віктор Онисько - режисер монтажу, який починав працювати над фільмом з режисеркою Марією ще у 2021 році. На початку повномасштабного російського вторгнення він добровільно долучився до захисту України. Віктор Онисько загинув 30 грудня 2022 року на Бахмутському напрямку.
Золоту Дзиґу ми передаємо Olga Birzul, кінокураторці та дружині Віктора. Ольга присвятила памʼяті Віктора нонфікшн «Твоя книга про кіно».

Our film Militantropos is competing in the Documentary Film section for the Heart of Sarajevo ❤️

Militantropos is a film about survival, closeness and the impact of war on people, which the film tells through intimate portraits of life in Ukraine during Russia's invasion.

While we are waiting for the Balkan and Asian premieres of MILITANTROPOS we asked our DoPs— Tsvetkov Slava Khrystyna Lizogub Denys Melnyk — to share their favorite stills from the film and for thoughts about documenting MILITANTROPOS from the inside.

🎥 What scenes were the most difficult for you from a technical or emotional point of view?
Khrystyna: One of the most difficult things was always funerals, mass burials and exhumations. The only things that helped overcome these moments were the camera's detachment from the event, the close people on the film crew with whom we shared this experience, and antidepressants.

Сьогодні День пам’яті закатованих або загиблих у полоні.

З початку війни ми допомогаємо і підтримуємо українських військовослужбовців, цивільних та всіх, хто працює задля нашої перемоги.

Вшановуємо пам’ять усіх, хто не повернувся з полону, зазнав нелюдських умов і тортур. Війна триває і ми не дамо замовчати війну в Україні.

Мріємо про день, коли всі українці повернуться додому. А поки докладаємо усі зусилля на допомогу і відбудову.

The next stops for Militantropos: Sarajevo and South Korea 🌎

We can't wait for the upcoming premiere of our documentary Militantropos, directed by Yelizaveta Smith, Alina Gorlova and Simon Mozgovyi, two international festivals this season:

Out of over 1,000 submissions, Militantropos has been selected for the official competition at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival! We’re honoured to be one of 50 films in the running for the Heart of Sarajevo 🤍

🇰🇷 DMZ Docs Industry - Asian premiere
The journey continues at the 17th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, where film has been chosen for the International Competition.

Militantropos weaves together portraits of life during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, telling the stories of those who flee, those who stay and those who fight.
It’s a film about survival, closeness, and what happens when war becomes part of the human experience.
