Most people know it for the view. Few know the story beneath their feet.

Kemp Hill stands on an ancient volcanic landscape that's more than 70 million years old, shaped by eruptions that helped create the dramatic headlands along the Capricorn Coast. From here you can look across Keppel Bay to the Keppel Islands, while standing above a coastline that has been cared for by the Darumbal People for countless generations.

Today, the hill sits within Capricorn Coast National Park, where coastal heath, eucalypt forests and grasslands meet the Coral Sea. During winter, these cliffs become one of the best local vantage points to spot migrating humpback whales.

Finally got out on the water with the man himself Hooked and Screaming testing a few spots. Only to get my PB Queenie on top water courtesy of the Nomad Design Australia Chug Norris popper. Headed back in and flicked some soft plastics at trevally pack attacks. Not a bad day at all 🎣🤙🏼

Today's roadworthy review...😅 Had the inspector around today. Checked the tyres, guards and safety chains, got distracted by a stick, tried to eat the jockey wheel handle. Still not sure how that's part of the roadworthy criteria. 🤷🏼 Unbelievable...
