And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Junior State Championships ✨

We had 5 girls qualify and attend this year, and they represented our club so well. Competing against the best gymnasts in the state, our girls fit right in and showed just how much they belong on that floor.

We’re so proud of their hard work, dedication and the progress they’ve made throughout the year. 💙

A huge thank you to our coaches, families and supporters who helped make this experience possible. And to our gymnasts - we hope you’re proud of yourselves, because we certainly are. ✨

🌟LEVEL 10 POPPY 🌟

Now this one is special. We are beyond proud to share that we were able to celebrate on Monday, Poppy, one of our senior gymnasts officially achieving her Level 10 badge in Gladstone over the weekend ! 💙💙💙

This is the highest level a gymnast can achieve in this sport, and a milestone that represents YEARS of dedication, commitment, resilience and an incredible amount of hard work. It is truly an outstanding achievement, and one that Poppy should be so proud of herself for.

Poppy has recently returned to training at Yeppoon Gymnastics about a year ago, but her gymnastics journey with her coach Kaylin started 9 years ago. Poppy has also been part of our gym family since she was little, training with the club during her younger years before returning to us as the incredible Senior she is today.

To have her in the gym and watch her reach this incredible milestone has been such a privilege. Poppy is a true role model to every gymnast in our club - from our babies right through to our developing and senior athletes. She shows what is possible when you put in the work, stay committed and keep believing in yourself.

Poppy, we could not be more proud of you ❤️ You are an incredible gymnast but more importantly, an amazing person and example for the next generation of gymnasts coming through our gym.

And she’s not done yet…

In just a couple of weeks, our NOW LEVEL 10 GYMNAST will head to the Gold Coast to compete at the National Clubs Carnival!

We wish Poppy all the very best as she continues her journey and we will be cheering you on every step of the way ✨✨✨✨

A huge congratulations to Ava (Level 4) on being selected for the Level 4 CQ Regional Team! Ava will represent Central Queensland alongside her fellow team members on a second day of competition at WAG Junior State Champs, competing against teams from other regions across Queensland. We are so excited to see how the team goes !

We are also incredibly proud of our Level 6 girls, who brought home 3rd place in the 2026 Central Queensland Level 6 Regional Club Championship award. 🥉 A result that reflects the hard work and team work of these girls.

Poppy has just recently made the big move from the UK to Yeppoon and has joined the team as our new Admin Officer!
