Iconic radio broadcaster John Laws has passed away at the age of 90. His final years on air were with 2SM Sydney and across the Super Radio Network, including 1350 2LF. John signed off for the final time on Friday the 8th of November 2024, hanging up the headphones and golden microphone. Our thoughts and prayers are with John Laws' family and friends at this sad time, along with those many colleagues at 2SM and across all radio networks who had the honour of working closely with John over so many years. Vale John Laws

📻 VALE JOHN LAWS 📻

Many across our region will be saddened by the passing of legendary radio host John Laws.

For generations, his familiar voice came through the airwaves each morning, in recent years on 1350 2LF - Young/South West Slopes Radio as part of the Super Radio Network serving Young, Cowra, Cootamundra and so many of our surrounding towns and villages.

John Laws was much more than a broadcaster. He was a daily companion to thousands, sparking conversation, laughter, and debate right across country New South Wales. His impact on Australian radio will never be forgotten.

My thoughts are with his family, friends, and the loyal listeners who welcomed him into their homes each day. Sx
