An unforgettable encounter with a Black-palmed Rock Monitor
(Varanus glebopalma) —
also known as the Twilight Monitor. 🖤
One of the most unexpected sightings we’ve had, and definitely a species we’ve spent a long time hoping to find.
Watching this incredible monitor move across the escarpment was something special.

An absolute dream reptile for us! 🦎✨

A tiny treasure of the night 🌙✨
While spotlighting after dark, we were lucky enough to find these stunning Marbled Velvet Geckos — both a juvenile and an adult!

Their beautiful patterns and velvet-like skin make them one of the true gems of the nocturnal world. 🦎💫
