Just beyond the turquoise waters of Baby Beach lies one of Aruba’s most emotional hidden places 🐾✨
Tucked into the quiet sand dunes, the Aruba Pet Cemetery stretches for nearly a mile — filled with crosses, candles, handwritten notes, and loving tributes to pets who will never be forgotten ❤️
Some memorials are simple and weathered by the sea breeze, while others are beautifully decorated with photos, flowers, and personal messages. Every single one tells a story of love, loyalty, and loss.
This unique tradition began in the 1920s when employees of the Lago Oil and Transport Company started burying their pets in these dunes. Nearly a century later, families continue to honor their beloved companions here.
It’s quiet. Peaceful. Emotional.
And it reminds us that pets are never “just animals” — they are family 🐶🐱❤️
