✨ I'm incredibly honored to share that Denzo Designs, has been awarded the “Most Innovative Company” title! ✨
The past few months have been a whirlwind as I’ve settled into life in Aruba and immersed myself in the O’stad200 Incubator program. This intensive program supports entrepreneurs like me in building sustainable, resilient businesses through training, strategic resources, and a collaborative community network. Each participant is paired with a dedicated mentor and ultimately pitches to a panel of judges for Start-Up and Scale-Up funding. It’s been a fast-paced sprint to establish Denzo Designs in the Aruban market, and this recognition is a huge step forward!
A heartfelt thank you to Impact Hub Aruba, the University of Aruba, KvK Aruba, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Communication, and Sustainable Development for creating this invaluable program. Special thanks to MaryAnn Falconi, Kristen, Solange, and Sue-ellen Freitas for your incredible support throughout the three-month journey. And to my mentor, Nadine from Momax Training – thank you for guiding me and helping me grow. I’m also grateful to my family for their continuous support and to my partner for standing by me during this intense three months.
On a personal note, it’s been an emotional time. Just two days before Pitch Day, I lost my grandmother, Maria Salome Figaroa – a woman who was like a mother to me, who raised me with love and taught me to stay humble and care for those around me. My family reminded me of how proud she was of this journey, encouraging me to continue despite the loss. This award is dedicated to her memory, and I carry her strength with me in every step forward. ♥️
