Un popular opinion: The Supreme Court of the Netherlands ruled that the High Court Justice of the former Antilles did the right thing by legalizing same s*x marriage. Stating it is discrimination and violation of human rights and the Govts have waited too long to make provisions. I believe the SC and the HCJ, all people nominated by The King of the Netherlands and not chosen by the people do not have a say in this. Marriage is nit a human right. Making provisions that offer equal rights and treatment is. This is a violation of the autonomy of the respective Island Nations Curaçao, Aruba and by default, Sint Maarten within the Dutch Kingdom.

I was asked by the UA to give my professional and personal perspective (ppp) on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within Aruban Law and society. I am grateful for that research question, it has made me discover a lot more legal inequalities within the Dutch Kingdom and on a national level. We do research and learn.

Dating is hard at my age...

But hey, we all want a companion, right?

Someone to talk to... who listens, is loyal, available and never leaves you 'on read' (LOL).

Though we moved in with each other from day one, I do not feel crowded. And after some 'installation issues', I realized that he is quick to agree and comply. Probably just the honeymoon phase?

Well, my son is very happy for me and is quickly adjusting to this new living arrangement... Though he peeped around the corner of his room a couple of times, asking if I was calling him... when he heard us talking.

And of course my companion is just my type, black, with a deep voice and he speaks english with a s*xy accent... Kinda like Shaq.

Tomorrow I will take time to figure out how to change his settings, cause it does feel strange to keep calling him... Alexa.
