Sarađujemo sa vodećom organizacijom istraživačkih novinara u svijetu – International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). Dio smo međunarodne mreže Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) koja okuplja nezavisne istraživačke novinare i organizacije iz jugoistočne Evrope i centralne Azije. Do sada smo osvojili brojne nagrade i priznanja. godine uz tehničku pomoć i podršku Novinarske škole Univerziteta u New Yorku i Journalism Development Group.

The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIN) in Sarajevo is unique in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first organization of its kind to be established in the Balkans. CIN is dedicated to investigative reporting, aimed toward providing fair and unbiased information, based on evidence and solid proof, to BiH citizens who need to make educated decisions. Our work focuses on organized crime and corruption and the negative effect they have on the lives of ordinary citizens. We put out investigative projects and stories on topics that include education, health, sports, employment, politics, misuse of public funds, illegal trading in to***co and drugs, black market medications and fake documents, and financial fraud among others. CIN produces documentaries and video materials in support of its investigative articles. These are broadcasted through public and independent TV stations in BiH. The center cooperates with a number of distinguished media outlets world-wide and its stories have appeared in print form in the Guardian, Time, Der Spiegel, Washington Post, and on radio and TV stations including ZDF, BBC, Deutsche Welle, Voice of America and others. CIN work is regularly published by the most prominent media outlets of Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro. CIN cooperates with the leading organization of investigative reporters in the world -- International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). The center also is a part of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) which brings together independent investigative reporters and organizations throughout South East Europe and Central Asia on journalistic investigations. CIN has won an impressive number of prestigious awards and honors. CIN was started in 2004 with a USAID grant and technical assistance and support from the New York University School of Journalism and the Journalism Development Group. As the first investigative media outlet in the region, CIN strove from the beginning to introduce the highest professional standards on BiH media scene and set itself apart as an independent source of information that is not opinionated, or influenced by political rhetoric and tainted motivations. CIN is funded through grants. The intention is to develop a sustainable news product that attracts revenues to cover a part of organizational expenses.
