Today March 21 marks Down Syndrome Day!!Down syndrome is the most common cause of intellectual disability and every person with Down syndrome will have some level of intellectual disability. There will be some delay in development and some level of learning difficulty. Because everyone is unique, the level of delay will be different for each person.
Down Syndrome International network will host the 14th World Down Syndrome Day Conference at the United Nations headquarters in New York. 20-22 March, there will be a number of events at the United Nations in Geneva to mark World Down Syndrome Day.
