Watching this video truly made me emotional as I listened to the beautiful words shared about how each person met me. It’s humbling to hear your journey reflected through the eyes of others.

I am so thankful to everyone who came out to the Miss Mpire Brunch and the launch of my new book Legally Single. Your presence, your love, and your support meant more than words can express.

When you lead with purpose and put God first, it doesn’t go unnoticed as people see it, people feel it, and most importantly, it creates impact beyond what you can imagine.

Success for me is living a balanced life

I’ve been figuring out since living on my own, how to strike that balance

I remember first beginning my entrepreneurial journey very eager (14 years ago this month). It gave birth to the hustle.

Wanted everyone to know my name and what I was capable of doing.

Overtime, I’ve found I’m outgrowing the hustle and seeking to be aligned. (Sis does be tired sometimes).

So I’m dedicated to unlearning the hustle and getting systems in place that would allow me to work smart and not hard.

I long to have a family someday (hubby included). So if it means I got to slow down just a little bit (get smart) and embrace the soft life, I’ll do it.

What good would success be if I can’t enjoy it with my family (my future bae, kids and (Beau and Bella 🐾))

This International Women’s Day, I’m reflecting on the theme Give to Gain and the beautiful reminder we experienced at the Miss Mpire Brunch.

Sometimes we think gaining means holding on tightly to what we have. But the truth is, some of life’s greatest blessings come when we give, give our time, our support, our wisdom, our love, and even our stories.

When women come together and pour into one another, something powerful happens.

We grow. We heal. We rise.

At the Miss Mpire Brunch, I witnessed women giving encouragement, sharing testimonies, lifting each other up, and sowing seeds into one another’s dreams. And in that space, we all gained something far greater than we came with strength, sisterhood, and renewed purpose.

So today, I encourage every woman: don’t be afraid to give. Give kindness. Give support. Give your voice. Give your light.

Because what you pour out into the world has a way of returning to you multiplied.

Here’s to women who give boldly, love deeply, and rise unapologetically.

Talicia Lewis gave a powerful and deeply moving testimony that truly resonated with everyone in the room.

She shared how she was able to rise through the pain of losing both her home and her business a season that could have broken her but instead built her.

With honesty and strength, Talicia spoke about what what it means to rebuild after devastating loss, to hold on to faith when everything feels uncertain and to make the decision to rise anyway.

Her story wasn’t just about loss it was about restoration. About reclaiming what was taken. About believing that setback is not the end or your story.

Through her resilience she reminded us all at Miss Mpire Brunch that even after a storm you can rebuild - stronger, wiser and more determined than ever.

Miracle Murrell truly had us in our feelings.
“Miracle” is actually the nickname her family gave her after she survived what doctors described as a medical miracle. Her real name is Faith Murrell — and both names tell a powerful story. From the very beginning, her life has been a testimony that God is able.

During the Rise Into Your Creativity segment, she guided us as we painted our beautiful handbags, but she did so much more than teach art. She poured into our spirits. With every brush stroke, we were reminded that the same God who performs miracles can do the impossible in our own lives.

It wasn’t just a creative session. It was a faith-filled experience that left many of us inspired, encouraged and deeply moved.
