Her Standard would be replaced by Presidential Standard - which was hoisted following President Mason's inauguration

Paix Bouche was one of the 6 uncontested seats after Nomination Day. As Joseph was unopposed, she was declared the winner

- Dominica's main opposition, United Workers Party, says it will NOT participate in the Dec 6th Dominica General Elections.

UWP has called on the President of Dominica to revoke the calling of the election by PM Roosevelt Skerrit

UWP has charged that "basic election standards" such as "a clean voters list reflecting the persons who can legally vote" and "national ID cards to all legitimate voters" should have been met before the staging of another election in Dominica
