Why is it always expected of women to sacrifice? It’s not just about their careers —be it her comfort, her desires, or even her food choices—they are expected to change and be prioritized less in a family.

From childhood, girls are praised for being "nice," "accommodating," and "selfless." They are given dolls to play with, and the term 'a perfect household' is being infused into their minds even without realization.

The idea that women are inherently more 'nurturing/selfless' is just a tool to justify the enormous expectations. And funny thing is if I don’t wanna sacrifice, I'm somehow less feminine. Remember, just beacuse I can, doesn’t mean I should.

All I'm saying is it should be a girl's very own choice of what she wants her path to be. The term 'taking permission from someone' for a 30-year-old grown woman to go on a coffee date with her friends offends me so much.

Let's talk about another popular ingredient

''Niacinamide"

এটার পপুলার হওয়ার যথেষ্ট কারণও আছে। এটা help করে:
~ Pores minimize করতে
~ Skin barrier improve করে
~ Brightening এ help করে
~ Uneven texture remove করে যার কারণে smooth লাগে
~এছাড়াও fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, skin এর ছোট ছোট bumps দূর করতে help করে।

So, it’s basically a magical ingredient if it suits you. আমার মনে হয়না এমন কেউ বাকী আছে যারা skincare freak but still didn’t try out niacinamide.
But, if you're new to the skincare game, this is for you:

~Lowest concentration (1 or 2%) দিয়ে start করুন
যদি প্রথমবার use করে purging/break out হয় তাহলে

~কিছুদিন বন্ধ রাখুন, gap দিয়ে use করুন। আমি suggest করি, প্রথমে মিনিমাম ৩-৪ দিন gap দিয়ে দিয়ে use করতে। যখন মনে হবে, adjust হয়ে গেছে তখন আস্তে আস্তে regular use করা start করতে পারেন।

~ অবশ্যই sunscreen use করবেন, এবং স্কিনকেয়ারে chemical exfoliater এড করতে হবে। ( soon I'll post a detailed post regarding chemical exfoliater )

~ এটা খুবই slowly কাজ করে, তাই আপনি যদি ৭ দিনে improvement চান অথবা, ধৈর্য না থাকে তাহলে এটা আপনার জন্য না। হয়তো ১ মাস পর একটু একটু পরিবর্তন বুঝতে পারবেন। আমি দীর্ঘ ৫ বছর থেকে use করছি, and it’s my holy grail ingredient.

~ যদি niacinamide serum হিসেবে use করেন, তাহলে অবশ্যই একটা ভাল ময়েশ্চারাইজার ব্যবহার করবেন। otherwise, your skin can become dry and flaky

~ শুধুমাত্র একটা প্রোডাক্ট আপনাকে সব বেনিফিটস দিবেনা। আবার সব ingredients সবাইকে স্যুটও করেনা, তাই যদি মনে হয় niacinamide স্যুট করছেনা, leave it.

আমি এতদিনে বহু niacinamide আছে এমন products use করেছি। I started with ordinary niacinamide serum then moved to cos de baha niacinamide + alpha arbutin serum ( it's an underrated gem ❤️, used minimum 3 bottles of it). Then shifted to Tiam b3 serum < anua niacinamide + txa and currently using medicube

Another day, another food review 😎

I love love love love ( add more love) thai cuisines. So went to my all time favourite Thai Emerald Gulshan. But I don’t know if I only felt like this, but the taste has dropped a little bit. All the other dishes were okay but that 'prawn in young coconut' was disappointing. It had only 3-4 small pieces of prawn 😑

All these cakes are from Sabiha's seasoning. এর আগে আমি দুয়েকটা পেজ থেকে ট্রাই করে ভালো না লাগায় অনলাইন থেকে কেক কেনা বাদই দিয়ে দিছলাম প্রায়। এরপর পরিচিত একজনের রিভিউ নিয়ে আপুর কাছে অর্ডার প্লেস করলাম and believe me আমি আর অন্য কোন পেজ অপশন কেকের ক্ষেত্রে আর খুঁজেও দেখিনা।
I’m not a sweet tooth তাই মিষ্টি balanced না হলে খেতে পারিনা, আবার অনেকে layering এ কেকের স্লাইস এত পাতলা করে আর ক্রিম এত বেশি দেয় যে বিরক্ত লাগে।But her ones are perfect ❤️ অনেক কেকের তো আমি ছবিও খুঁজে পাচ্ছিনা কিন্তু এখন যে কোনো special occasion এ আপুর থেকে signature red velvet/chocolate mocha আমার অর্ডার করতেই হবে

গত ঈদে আমি fully determined ছিলাম তেমন কোনো dress নিব না, গর্জিয়াস কিছু তো না-ই। একটা simple dress কিনতে Closet Cloud-Banani তে ঢুকছিলাম and ended up buying this 🤦🏼‍♀️
