His wife had p’assed away. Her body was in the car, ready for the f’uneral. The j’anaza was set for 9 PM, but he didn’t want it so late. He couldn’t even bring himself to say, “Let her stay a little longer in front of me”
So he just sat there silently, beside her, all night. His son understood and the j’anaza was held the next morning.
Everyone left. But he stayed. Sat alone in front of the car. Still giving her company. This isn’t just love. This is what it means to not let go even after d’eath. She was lucky to be loved like that. We all pray for a love that stays.
