মুসলিম বীর যোদ্ধাদের ইতিহাস অসংখ্য বীরত্বপূর্ণ চরিত্রে সমৃদ্ধ। এখানে কিছু প্রখ্যাত মুসলিম যোদ্ধাদের নাম দেওয়া হল:
#খালিদ ইবনে ওয়ালিদ (রা) - ইসলামের প্রথম যুগের একজন মহান সামরিক নেতা, যিনি "আল্লাহর তরবারি" নামে পরিচিত ছিলেন।

#সালাহ উদ-দীন আইয়ুবী (সালাদিন) - ক্রুসেডস সময়ের একজন বিখ্যাত কুর্দি মুসলিম নেতা, যিনি জেরুজালেমের পুনরুদ্ধারের জন্য পরিচিত।

#তারিক ইবনে জিয়াদ - 711 খ্রিস্টাব্দে স্পেনে মুসলিম বিজয়ের নেতা। জিব্রাল্টার শব্দটি তারিকের নাম থেকে এসেছে (Jabal Tariq অর্থাৎ তারিকের পর্বত)।

#ইমাম শামিল - 19শ শতাব্দীর ককেশাসের একজন ধর্মীয় ও সামরিক নেতা, যিনি রাশিয়ান সাম্রাজ্যের বিরুদ্ধে দীর্ঘকাল ধরে যুদ্ধ করেছেন।

#সুলতান মেহমেদ দ্বিতীয় - ওঠমানী সাম্রাজ্যের সুলতান, যিনি 1453 খ্রিস্টাব্দে কনস্টান্টিনোপল বিজয়ের মাধ্যমে বাইজেন্টাইন সাম্রাজ্যের পতন ঘটান।

#উমর মুখতার - লিবিয়ার একজন জাতীয় নায়ক, যিনি ইতালীয় ঔপনিবেশিক শাসনের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করেছেন

#মুহাম্মদ বিন কাসিম - 8ম শতাব্দীতে সিন্ধ এবং মুলতান অঞ্চলে ইসলামের প্রথম সফল বিজয়ের নেতা।
