মুক্তির নেশা ছিল প্রবল,
জীবনের মায়া ছেড়ে দিয়ে করেছি লড়াই,
রক্তে ছিল আগুন, চোখে ছিল স্বপ্ন,
বাঁধনহীন এক পাখির মতো উড়েছি চাই চাই।

শিকল ভাঙার ডাক শুনে,
জেগেছিল মন, জেগেছিল প্রাণ,
ভয়কে রেখেছি পায়ের নিচে,
জীবনকে করেছি তুচ্ছ সম্মান।

কেউ বলেছে পাগল, কেউ করেছে ঘৃণা,
তবু পথ থামাইনি, ছিল শুধু চেতনার গায়েন,
কারণ জানতাম—
মৃত্যু নয় শেষ, বরং লড়াই-ই জীবন।
