Let me be clear on one thing: I used to respect Ronaldo. He was Messi's rival and the best goalscorer of this generation, but his interview with Piers Morgan and his Instagram comments left no room for sympathy or respect. He is receiving all the hate because of what he said.
There is no wonder he inspired many, but he destroyed his own legacy and professionalism. It's on him.
