There’s something special about slowing down and really seeing the places we pass every day.
Old windows that have watched generations come and go. Light fixtures that once guided late-night conversations. Storefronts, staircases, and walls that have witnessed decades of everyday life.

The Lebanon Downtown Historic Tour wasn’t just about buildings — it was about people gathering, sharing memories, asking questions, and reconnecting with the beginnings of our town. A reminder that history isn’t locked away in books; it lives right here, woven into our streets and shaped by the community that continues to show up for it.

Grateful to document moments like this and to be part of a town that cares so deeply about where it’s been and where it’s going. 🤍

An acoustic rendition of Breath of Heaven I recorded in 2022. I’d picked up some curtains and string lights to dress up the small motorhome I was living in at the time, and turned it into a mini recording space.

I’ve shared a little about how MJ Media was born from probably the hardest season of my life (pinned post). I recorded this video during that time. Some of the lyrics paralleled on my own challenges, and I was leaning into faith and using every ounce of strength and resourcefulness I had.

No matter what you’re going through, there is always a way to make things happen. You can always take even a tiny step in the direction of your goals. It can be as simple as Walmart curtains and lights. With a new year quickly approaching, I hope you’ll find encouragement in this story and go boldly after your dreams. 🫶🏻 Enjoy.
