This is where you release every expectation of what you think Broadway Black is doing or trying to be.
Let it fall away here in the night.
Rise with me in the morning, renewed.
When I chose The Iceman Cometh as the symbol for Broadway Black’s return, it wasn’t just because of the title. It was because of the truth underneath it.
I connected with the tension between performance and presence, between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. Broadway Black has always existed somewhere in that same space with the dreamers, the truth-tellers, and the ones trying to hold the light while the world sleeps.
So this is really a confession.
I’ve been in that bar too, waiting, watching, figuring out what the next chapter could look like. I’ve spent years building, breaking, and rebuilding, holding dreams that sometimes felt too heavy to name out loud.
But the thing about truth is, it waits for you.
It doesn’t move on without you.
So here I am, awake, alive, and standing in it.
Broadway Black returns as a reminder that creation is still possible after silence.
That joy, study, and rebellion can exist in the same breath.
