“Narikantho” is a monthly magazine published from Chattogram that stands as a beacon of inspiration, dedicated to telling the untold stories of women across Bangladesh. They Specially focus on unveiling the reality of female limitations, struggles, competencies, progress, and success. Narikantho since July 2013 from its initiation has been striving hard to make it a vivid voice of women with progr
essive thoughts and attitudes. It also recognizes people who have made great contributions to literature, music, education, science, health, social works, and any other ways in Bangladesh. Under the banner of Narikantho, ‘Narikantho Swapnodana” was formed to inspire school and college-going girls through different events and activities like career development, civil rights, health & child marriage awareness programs etc. Narikantho remains engaged to encourage girls to get involved in building their own identities rather than being married at a young age. Narikantho also works for the poor & homeless street children delivering food, clothes, and books; mainly trying to attach them to mainstream society.
“Narikantho” and “Shahriar Farzana” are blended and inseparable names and there are several renowned and socially-professionally well-established personalities who are sincerely involved and contributing to this journey along with her by playing advisory and many other roles.
