Samim Reza, Digonto’s father, posted that his son got admitted to a private university and said “Alhamdulillah” expressing his gratitude. People are laughing and making fun of it.

Why? Maybe it’s just a private university, but a parent can be happy about any achievement of their child. Should we decide for others what they should be happy about? Who should be grateful for what? What’s funny here? A father is just proud of his son.

In our country, it’s often impossible to make people happy, no matter what you do. Parents also have high expectations. In this context, the boy’s father is simply happy and said “Alhamdulillah” I don’t understand why people feel the need to laugh at that.
