ইতিহাসে ৩০ জুন ২০১৮!
সেদিন সরকারি চাকরিতে কোটা বাতিলের প্রজ্ঞাপনের দাবিতে সংবাদ সম্মেলনের আয়োজন করা হয় ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রন্থাগারের সামনে। ৯.৩০ দিকে নুরুল হক নুর ভিসি চত্বরে দাঁড়িয়ে আমাকে কল দেয় ভাই আমি ভিসি চত্বরে চলে আসছি আপনি কই? আমি তখন হল থেকে বের হওয়ার প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছি। এদিকে ফারুকের সাথেও কথা হলো সে এসএম হল থেকে আসতেছে। রাশেদ তখন হলের বাহিরে থাকায় আমাদের সাথে এক হতে পারেনি। আমরা তিনজন আমি, ফারুক আর নুর একত্রিত হই ভিসি চত্বরে। আরো কয়েকজন আমাদের সাথে একত্রিত হয় এখানে। আর কয়েকজন অপেক্ষা করে লাইব্রেরীর সামনে।
লাইব্রেরীর দিকে যাওয়ার পথে নুরকে বললাম প্রতিটি হল থেকে ছাত্রলীগকে এনে জড়ো করা হয়েছে আমাদেরকে মারার জন্য এমন তথ্য হলের একজন সিনিয়র দিয়েছে। তখন নুর বললো মারলে কিছু তো করার নাই চলেন গিয়ে দেখি। আমরা যখন লাইব্রেরীর সামনে পৌছালাম এর আগে রাশেদ মাহফুজ এদের সাথে কথা বললাম এরাও শাহবাগ থেকে লাইব্রেরীর দিকে রওনা হয়েছে। সেদিন লাইব্রেরীর সামনে জড়ো করা হয়েছে ছাত্রলীগের সব হার্ডহিটারদের। মানে ছাত্রলীগের মধ্যে যাদের ইতোপূর্বে মারধরের রেকর্ড আছে। আমরা তখন লাইব্রেরীর সামনে গেলাম এবং দাঁড়ানোর চেষ্টা করলাম কিন্তু হুট করেই কিছু বুঝে উঠার আগেই নুরের হাত ধরে টান দিলো মুহসিন হলের মোন্না ভাই এবং জসিমউদদীন হলের মেহেদী ভাই। টান দিয়ে তখন নুরকে মাটিতে ফেলে দিলো, আমি নুরকে বাঁচাতে তাঁর বাম হাত টেনে ধরলাম কিন্তু পারলাম না। নুরের উপর নেমে এলো এলোপাতাড়ি হামলা। যে যেভাবে পারছে নুরকে লাথি, ঘুষি মারছে। ৪/৫ শত মানুষের সামনে নুর যেনো একটা ফুটবল 😪
তখন হঠাৎ করে পেছনে কেউ একজন উড়ন্ত লাফ দিয়ে আমার পিটে এসে পড়ে, লাথি খেয়ে আমি লাইব্রেরী ভেতরে গিয়ে পড়ি। লীগের মধ্যে ৫/৭ জন আমাকে লাইব্রেরীর বাহিরে আনার জন্য টানছে আবার কয়েকজন ভেতরে নেওয়ার জন্য টানছে। এদিকে নুরের উপর দিয়ে কি যাচ্ছে আর দেখতে পাইনি। আমাকে কিছুক্ষণ মারার পর এই গ্রুপটা আমাকে সেখানে ফেলে নুরকে মারার জন্য আবার আসে। এরমধ্যে আমার হলের এক জুনিয়র, সে আমাকে লাইব্রেরীর ভেতর লুকানোর নিয়ে যায়। নিচ তলার ভেতরে পশ্চিম পাশে বই রাখার রেক গুলো ২ তলায়। সেখানে আমাকে লুকায় আরো দুজন মিলে, এঁরা দুজনেই আমার হলের জুনিয়র। আমি সেখানে গিয়ে জ্ঞান হারিয়ে ফেলেছিলাম অনেক সময়। জ্ঞান ফিরলে এদের একজনকে বলি আমার রুম থেকে পাওয়ার ব্যাংকটা এনে দিতে। তখন একজন পাওয়ার ব্যাংক এনে দেয়। এরমধ্যে ছাত্রলীগ এখানে এসেও খোঁজতে থাকে আমাকে কিন্তু আমি লুকিয়ে ছিলাম তখন। বন্ধ ফোন অন করে খোঁজ নিলাম নুর কোথায় আছে, তখন তাঁরা বলে নুরকে হসপিটালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। নুরের জ্ঞান নেই, কথা বলতে পারছে না। মুখ দিয়ে লালা বের হচ্ছে। এই কথা শুনে আমি ভয় পেয়ে গেলাম। আমি তখন ফোন করে সাংবাদিক নির্ঝর, রফিক ভাই, সাংবাদিক বন্ধু নয়ন এবং আসিফ তাহসিন ভাইকে আমাকে বাঁচানোর আকুতি জানাই। তখন তাঁরা এম্বুলেন্স নিয়ে লাইব্রেরীর সামনে এসে লাইব্রেরীর ভেতর থেকে আমাকে উদ্ধার করে। তাঁরা লীগের ভয়ে আমাকে লাইব্রেরির পেছন দিক দিয়ে হসপিটালে নিয়ে যায়। কান্না আর শরীরের ব্যথায় আমি তখন কথা বলতে পারছিলাম না। এরপর আমাকেও নেওয়া হলো ঢাকা মেডিক্যালে। সেখানে লীগ হামলা করতে আসতেছে এমন কথা শুনার পর আমাকে সেখান থেকে আনোয়ার খানে নেওয়া হয়। আমাদের উপর সেই নির্মম হামলার লাইভ করে টিভি চ্যানেল গুলো, নুরের উপর হামলার ভিডিও ভাইরাল হয় সারাদেশে। সেদিন থেকে আন্দোলন নতুন রুপ নেয়, প্রতিশোধের বারুদ বার বার জ্বলতো ভেতরে। কারণ এর আগে আমি ব্যক্তিগত ভাবে কারো সাথে মারামারি করিনি, মারও খাইনি। হামলায় নুরের হাতের একটা আঙ্গুল ভেঙ্গে যায়। সেখান থেকেই আজকের গণঅধিকার, আজকের জনতার নুর, মামুন, রাশেদ, ফারুক সহ অনেকেই। আমাদের শরীরের প্রতিটি রক্ত কণা থেকেই আজকের এই বিপ্লব...
